Day 7: Chris Stringer | #HITSBC16

Hey guys!

With today's video the first week of our month-long birthday party is over.
I know I'm over-emotional sometimes, but this is going by so quickly!

We still have a lot of fantastic music left for everyone to see, so I reckon we should just focus on the incredible videos we've been gifted this year.

Let's go!

What is #HITSBC16?
HITSBC16 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2016.
Throughout the entire month of February, we will be celebrating this website's fourth birthday.
One artist/band a day is going to wish us a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for this sweet occasion.

Who is performing today?
Chris Stringer.
He is a singer/songwriter originally hailing in from Swansea, UK now based in London, UK.
Chris' influences vary from artists such as Bruce Springsteen and Damien Rice to bands like Fleetwood Mac and the time when dinosaurs ruled the world.

But don't worry, his music doesn't consist of roars and growls, it's quite the oppposite really.
His sound is very soft, yet very gripping and his releases are always ones to treasure.

What is special about this video?
It's a tribute to the rock legend Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead who passed away in January.
Chris put his very own spin on the song and, with that, shows us how creativity works - it's all about being original. We absolutely love this bluesy version of the rock song.

And now, please enjoy Chris Stringer performing "Ace Of Spades" by Motörhead!

Where can we find Chris Stringer online?
Twitter | Facebook | Soundcloud | Reverbnation | Instagram

Who do we need to thank?
One of HITS' dear friends, Chris, of course! He's been so respectful and so easy to work with which is so refreshing. And we appreciate it.
It's always a pleasure to have you involved with our birthday party, Chris!

What can we do now?
If you've enjoyed this article, please help us reach more people by sharing it along with the hashtag #HITSBC16.
Everybody who uses the hashtag on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram has the chance to win something lovely once the countdown is over.

I hope you enjoyed day 7!
