Day 17: Liam McClair | #HITSBC16

Hey guys!

Massive shoutout to everyone who discovered a new artist/band they like because of this countdown!
That's the main thing we want to achieve and it's so lovely to have people comment things like that.

We're going to continue introducing you to some of the finest acts around and can't wait to see your reaction.
So please, always let us know what you think.

What is #HITSBC16?
HITSBC16 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2016.
Throughout the entire month of February, we will be celebrating this website's fourth birthday.
One artist/band a day is going to wish us a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for this sweet occasion.

Who is performing today?
Liam McClair.
He is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.
His sound can be classified as acoustic/folk with raw pop elements.
Most of Liam's recordings are guitar based and vocals focused. But you'll still find piano ballads and harmonica instrumentals paired with supportive percussions whilst listening to Liam's repertory.

With strong live performances Liam has convinced crowds all over the UK and even made it to Belgium and Holland to play his music.
Music fans from all over the world are drawn to his sound. He has supported acts like Newton Faulkner and Echo & The Bunnymen.
Liam released three EPs so far, "How", "Honey" and "Honest".
Keep your eyes on his social media accounts for new releases and gig announcements soon.

What is special about this video?
It's so calming and comfortable but definitely not in a boring way.
It's a joy to watch this video and I think it really brings across what HITS stands for - personal music experiences.

Ladies and lads! Here we go, this is Liam McClair performing his song "Alchemy".

Where can we find Liam McClair online?

Who do we need to thank?
Our dear friend and writer Liam himself!
It's the third year in a row that we've had the pleasure to have him on this countdown and it's always been great working with him.
Cheers, Liam! That deserves a pie!

What can we do now?
