Day 19: Ben Barritt | #HITSBC15

Hey guys!

What absolutely exciting project this year's Birthday Countdown has turned out to be. It's going down so well and the support from everyone involved caused a lot of happy moments.
I'm still incredibly excited each day I get to present you a new performance.

What is the Birthday Countdown though? Throughout the entire month of February, one artist/one band a day is going to wish house in the sand a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for us.

Today the talented Ben Barritt celebrates with us.

Ben Barritt is a Berlin based singer/songwriter.
As a musician the range of music he plays couldn't be wider; from playing guitar for Americana singer/songwriter Erik Penny to heading into the indie-rock direction with Jim Kroft.

Ben's own sound blends folk, rock, jazz and even sprinkels of R'n'B. So far he released an EP called "Sundial" which consists of four convincing songs with spot on lyrics. Right now Ben is working on his album, exciting times!

This video was filmed in Berlin, last October. Ben found this really cool spot right next to the river Spree where we decided to film his performance of his song "Now", a very fantastic tune.
I apologise for the rather unfortunate placing of my suitcase. Very professional, I know.

A massive massive thank you to Ben for being absolutely supportive and an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a great time filming this video!

Please go ahead and share this performance with your friends by using the hashtag #HITSBC15.
