Hey guys,

Sir Cliff Richard, Tina Turner and Dannii Minogue - those are just a few of the artists Pete Lincoln has worked with.
He was leadsinger in the band Sailor (famous songs: "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "Glass Of Champagne), wrote for the band "S Club 7" and now he's bassist and front man of SWEET, the glam rock band.

Oh and today he releases his solo album "Soul Searching" and of course I'm going to review it.

Today I finally get to announce what 'that project' I was (non stop) talking about is.

So the project is called "Birthday Countdown".
This very blog is turning two years old on February 28th and because birthdays always take soo long to come up, we are going to celebrate.
No, not just on Feb 28th, but through out the entire month!

The amount of Scottish musicians featured on house in the sand is pretty impressive and what's even more impressive is their talent.

And so is Rosco McCabe's talent. 
The folk singer/songwriter from Coatbridge, residing in Manchester, just released his debut EP called "Not Enough Miles".

Interview: The GoAround

The GoAround is a duo from Pennsylvania, US consisting of Alexander and Anthoney Saddic.
Since 2006 the band plays pop/alt-rock music inspired by things going on in their lives.
After many member switches the two still keep going and plan to continue like that.

In the interview Alex and Anthoney shared their new year's resolutions and talk about fans, their album and a lot more.

Vodsel is post punk duo from Manchester and Wrexham, United Kingdom.
It consists of Paul Davies (vocals, synths, percussion) and Chris Williams (guitars, synths, drums).

Hey guys,

today are two premieres on house in the sand.
One is the "Video Of The Day" segment which is going to be one of the new segments and the other premiere is the actual video of the day, "Sleepless" by The Persian Leaps.

The noise pop band from Saint Paul, Minnesota got together in 2012. Before that singer Drew has been recording songs for years, inspired by 1980/90 bands like My Bloody Valentine and The Smiths.
